[nectar_dropcap color=””]O[/nectar_dropcap]n Tuesday, October 23 at the Carnegie Community Centre, The Eyeglasses Project teamed up with Ollie Quinn to provide eye exams and prescription glasses to Vancouverites in the downtown eastside.
The numbers are in. We fitted 102 pairs of prescription eye glasses. We also provided comprehensive eye exams to 64 individuals, 49% of whom had never seen an eye doctor.
